1Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Actium platform and services (the "Service") provided by Good Venture Labs Inc. ("Actium"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meanings given there.
2Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own use of the Service and for the conduct of your Authorised Users and anyone you give access. You must ensure they comply with this AUP.
3Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to store, send, or make available content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
- contains child sexual abuse material or sexualises minors
- harasses, threatens, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group
- contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code; or
- violates the rights of, or harms, any person.
4Prohibited activities
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems or networks
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach security or authentication measures without our written permission
- interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g. denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or overloading infrastructure)
- circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access restrictions
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications, or to violate anti-spam laws (e.g. CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/PECR)
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without authorisation
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted
- use the Service to develop a competing product or to benchmark without our consent
- violate the terms of service or acceptable use policies of any third-party service that Actium integrates with, including Google, Ahrefs, Dropbox, Shopify, and Unipile. You are responsible for complying with their terms when you authorise these integrations; or
- export, re-sell, or resell data obtained through integrations (such as Ahrefs competitive data, Google Analytics metrics, or Shopify customer data). These services’ data is licensed to you for use within the Service only, and you may not extract or redistribute it.
4AAI-specific restrictions
Where the Service provides AI agents, automation, or generated outputs, you must not:
- use Outputs in a way that is deceptive, including presenting AI-generated content as human-created where that would mislead, or impersonating individuals or organisations
- use the Service for high-risk or prohibited purposes, including fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review (e.g. credit, employment, housing, insurance, or essential services), or any use restricted by applicable AI law (such as the EU AI Act)
- generate or facilitate unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative content, or content that sexualises minors
- attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or replicate underlying models, prompts, weights, or training data, or to circumvent safety filters
- input data you are not permitted to process, or use the Service to infer sensitive attributes about individuals unlawfully; or
- violate the acceptable use policies of any third-party AI provider underlying the Service.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating Outputs before relying on them.
5Fair use and resource limits
You must not use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure or degrades performance for other customers. We may set and enforce technical limits.
6Security and reporting
You must promptly report suspected vulnerabilities or misuse to security@goactium.com. Do not exploit any vulnerability you discover or access data that is not yours.
7Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access — with or without notice depending on severity — and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We may act immediately where there is a risk of harm, legal liability, or security compromise.
8Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
